Collaboration System Among Local Governments and Specialized Agencies

On the 9th, the Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul announced that it had signed a business agreement with five related organizations to provide 'integrated support for crime victims.'

The agreement involved the Dongdaemun-gu Pine Tree Center, Dongdaemun-gu Family Center, Dongdaemun-gu Mental Health Welfare Center, Seoul Eastern Child Protection Agency, and Seoul Northern Crime Victim Support Center.


The main contents of the agreement include ▲ establishing a case management and information-sharing system for discovering and linking vulnerable crime victims ▲ building a customized support network for victims and their families exposed to crimes against socially vulnerable groups such as domestic violence and child abuse, as well as violent crimes ▲ strengthening cooperation among institutions to contribute to the prompt recovery of crime victims' daily lives and the creation of a safe living environment.


Ko Young-jae, chief of the Dongdaemun Police Station, said, “With this business agreement, we expect to provide customized support services to victims and their families who are struggling due to crime, enabling the prompt recovery of crime victims' daily lives. We will do our best to ensure that robust and substantial support for crime victims is provided based on cooperation among the institutions.”
