Goseong-gun to Recruit 186 Participants for Public Job Programs Including Environmental Cleanup

Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam will be recruiting participants for the second half of the year Public Work and Local Community Job Projects from the 15th to the 19th.

The Public Work Project is a direct employment program implemented every year in the first and second half to support vulnerable groups such as low-income households and long-term unemployed individuals. The project period is from August 12 to December 11, and 186 participants will be recruited.

Eligible applicants are Goseong-gun residents aged 18 or older whose household income is at or below 60% of the median income standard and whose assets are 300 million KRW or less. Applicants can choose their preferred tasks among detailed projects listed in the announcement, such as village environment cleanup and public service support.

In addition, the Local Community Job Project includes tasks such as swimming pool lifeguard, maintenance of Galmobong forest recreation area, management of subtropical crop cultivation, creation of Gujeolsan Peach Blossom Road in Donghae-myeon, and operation of a dedicated team for collecting agricultural waste and household garbage in Garyu-myeon. The project period is from August 12 to December 31, and 21 participants will be recruited.

Those wishing to participate must bring their ID and other supporting documents and apply in person at the eup or myeon office of their registered address. Duplicate applications for both the Local Community Job Project and the Public Work Project are not allowed.
