Busan Metropolitan Office of Education and Busan Community Chest Hold Donation Ceremony on the 5th

Over 21,000 Safety Umbrellas Delivered to All First Graders in Busan

BNK Busan Bank Supports 'Safe Umbrellas'... Ensuring Safe Walking for Children BNK Busan Bank supported the 'Safety Umbrella' for children's safe walking.

The 'Safety Umbrella' is designed with three transparent panels so that pedestrians can be easily seen by drivers in rainy weather. Additionally, a red background with reflective strips makes it easier for pedestrians to stand out to drivers.

Busan Bank delivered the newly produced 'Safety Umbrellas' to approximately 21,000 first-grade elementary school students in the Busan area through the Busan Community Chest of Korea.

Bang Seongbin, President of Busan Bank, said, "We hope that providing these safety umbrellas will help create a safer commute for children," and added, "We will continue to work together with the local community to create an environment where children can grow up healthy and safe."

Since 2018, Busan Bank has supported children's traffic safety by providing backpack safety covers and safety yellow cards. In particular, in 2021, the bank installed runway-style crosswalks and logo projectors with safety messages at three school zones in Gangseo-gu, Yeongdo-gu, and Saha-gu to help prevent traffic accidents involving children.
