Hyun Jeeseon, Chairman of Hyundai Department Store Group, Donates Entire Hyundai Green Food Shares to Family

Jung Ji-sun, Chairman of Hyundai Department Store Group, gifted all of his shares in Hyundai Green Food to his wife, children, and nephew.

On the 5th, Hyundai Green Food announced that Chairman Jung equally gifted 2.92% of his 12.67% stake to his wife Hwang Seo-rim, son Jung Chang-deok, and daughter Jung Da-na. The gifted shares totaled 4,293,097, valued at 51.4 billion KRW.

Chairman Jung also gifted 1.3% of Hyundai Green Food shares each to the three sons of his younger brother, Jung Kyo-sun, Vice Chairman of Hyundai Department Store Group: Jung Chang-wook, Chang-jun, and Chang-yoon.

A Hyundai Department Store Group official stated, "This is understood to be a simple gift of Chairman Jung Ji-sun's personal assets. Since the single holding company system has already been established, and the shares were gifted in subsidiaries rather than the holding company, this is unrelated to management succession."
