BankSalad, a MyData specialized fintech (finance + technology) company, announced on the 5th that 5,000 people participated in the asset management investment game 'Salad Game.'

Salad Game is a game where a team of five members consumes within the team budget over five days and receives prize money equivalent to the amount spent. The first round of Salad Game, held for five days from the 24th to the 28th of last month, was originally planned for 3,000 participants (600 teams), but due to a surge in applications during the recruitment period, the number of participants was expanded to 5,000 (1,000 teams). During the Salad Game, the application (app) inflow rate increased by 108% compared to the previous week.

320 teams succeeded in the game, and a total of 1,460 people received prize money. The team that received the highest total prize money won 540,000 KRW, and the team member who received the highest individual prize money got 449,000 KRW. The 1,460 successful participants saved an average of about 140,000 KRW compared to the previous week. The category with the highest spending was online shopping.
