Jeonnam Health and Environment Research Institute (Director Anyangjun) participated in the '2024 International Proficiency Test' and received the 'Laboratory of Excellence' certification in the drinking water field.
According to Jeonnam Province on the 5th, the international proficiency test is a system that internationally evaluates and verifies the analytical capabilities of testing and inspection institutions.
This test was conducted under the supervision of the Environmental Resource Associates.
The Environmental Resource Associates is an international proficiency test implementing organization certified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO/IEO). The significance was enhanced by the participation of over 920 environmental testing and inspection institutions worldwide in 2024.
The evaluation items totaled 17, including ▲ 9 items of harmful inorganic substances ▲ 4 items of harmful organic substances ▲ 2 items of aesthetic impact substances ▲ 2 items of disinfection by-products.
The international proficiency test evaluation is conducted by analyzing unknown samples provided by the evaluation institution and submitting the results to the verification institution to confirm the analysis results for each item.
Jeonnam Health and Environment Research Institute, as an 'Excellent' certified institution in the international proficiency evaluation, established a quality assurance system with standardized testing and inspection capabilities and international conformity, securing domestic and international competitiveness through advanced measurement technology.
