"Math Is Not Difficult"... Busan Western Office of Education Holds Math Study Method Training for Parents

Guide to Systematic Study Methods, Bridging Regional Educational Gaps

Busan Western Office of Education (Superintendent Lee Jaehan) announced on the 5th that it will hold a 'Mathematics Education Parent Training' for about 300 elementary school parents at the Saha-gu Office's 2nd building on the 8th at 10 a.m.


This training has been organized to bridge the educational gap between regions through systematic guidance on studying mathematics and to address parents' questions about their children's education.


On this day, Professor Lee Donghwan from the Department of Mathematics Education at Busan National University of Education will present on the topic 'Our Children's Mathematics Education Roadmap for Elementary, Middle, and High School.' He will provide practical cases of mathematics education that parents must know, including teaching methods according to students' developmental stages and ways for students to understand mathematical concepts.


Additionally, there will be a Q&A session where participants can ask questions and seek advice about their children's mathematics education.


Superintendent Lee Jaehan said, "This training will be an opportunity to introduce various know-how on methods for studying mathematics and understanding mathematical concepts tailored to students' developmental stages," and added, "We will continue to offer training on various study methods that can be practiced at home."
