12x Increase in Subscribers One Week Before and After Launch
Highest Subscription Rate Among Cost-Conscious 2030s
Delivery application Yogiyo announced on the 5th that the number of new subscribers exceeded 150,000 just one week after partnering with 'Naver Plus Membership'.
The number of new subscribers to the free delivery subscription service 'YogipassX' has been rapidly increasing since the launch of the partnership membership between Yogiyo and Naver on the 26th of last month. Compared to one week before the launch, the number of new subscribers increased twelvefold after the launch.
The joint service 'YogipassX with Naver Plus Membership' offers free delivery benefits along with the existing benefits of Naver Plus Membership, such as up to 5% points accumulation and life benefit options.
The benefits of YogipassX are provided as basic digital content rather than optional within the Naver membership, and can be used without additional cost after linking both accounts. Naver Plus Membership subscribers receive unlimited free delivery benefits with no limit on the number of times when ordering above the minimum amount at eligible YogipassX stores. Additionally, an automatic 7% discount benefit will be offered for takeout orders within this month.
The subscriber ratio of YogipassX with Naver Plus Membership is highest among people in their 20s and 30s. Yogiyo believes this reflects that the cost-conscious consumer group quickly subscribed to use the free food delivery benefits.
Jang Young-joo, Head of Business Strategy at Yogiyo, said, "For consumers who want to enjoy various benefits with a single membership, the partnership membership between Yogiyo and Naver will be a good choice," and added, "As the number of new subscribers is expected to surpass 200,000 starting this week, we anticipate that Yogiyo's marketing activities will gain momentum."
