Signed an MOU with HM Company earlier this year
On the 4th, Law Firm (Limited) Daeryun announced that it is further strengthening its digital forensic capabilities to provide high-quality legal services.

The Evidence Investigation, Digital Forensics, and Security Group consists of experts from various fields, including criminal defense lawyers formerly affiliated with courts, prosecutors, and police, professional investigators holding detective qualifications, and digital forensic specialists.
To resolve various civil and criminal issues ranging from personal family matters to corporate technology leaks, embezzlement, and breach of trust, the group has introduced state-of-the-art equipment to provide specialized evidence collection and analysis services.
In particular, earlier this year, Daeryun signed a mutual technology cooperation MOU in the digital forensics field with HM Company, receiving recognition for further enhancing its evidence collection and analysis capabilities by adopting advanced investigative techniques.
HM Company is a specialized internal audit firm utilizing digital data. It has experience in digital forensics on over 10,000 digital devices, including PCs, mobile phones, and servers. It was the first private company in Korea to be recognized as a KOLAS (Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) internationally accredited testing institution in the digital forensics field.
Through this collaboration, Daeryun explained that it now conducts professional evidence collection in various cases, including civil and criminal matters, by leveraging HM Company’s experience and technological expertise. Strengthening digital forensic capabilities enables more effective responses to compliance issues such as corporate management, embezzlement, breach of trust, technology leaks, and fair trade violations.
Additionally, Daeryun will be able to issue KOLAS-accredited test reports as deliverables for digital forensic requests. Test reports issued by KOLAS-accredited institutions are mutually recognized by major countries and organizations worldwide, ensuring credibility and are considered valid in international corporate litigation and disputes. This allows for the submission of highly credible evidence in various legal responses, including corporate law and civil and criminal cases.
Daeryun expects that the synergy of enhanced digital forensic capabilities will enable it to provide customized one-stop legal services and improve its case resolution abilities compared to before.
Kim Guk-il, CEO of Daeryun, stated, “The importance of digital evidence has increased in the process of securing evidence for various legal responses such as corporate law and civil and criminal cases. Going forward, we will strengthen the law firm’s expertise in evidence collection and analysis by utilizing digital forensics across multiple fields to ensure that clients can safely receive legal services.”
