Appeal for Support to Core Conservative Base and Party Members

On the 4th, the People Power Party leadership candidates will continue their schedule in Incheon and the Seoul metropolitan area following their visit to TK (Daegu·Gyeongbuk). Their strategy is to capture the votes of party members in the metropolitan area, which, along with Yeongnam, has a large number of party members.

Candidate Na Kyung-won will start her day at the Gyeryong Culture and Arts Center in Gyeryong City, Chungnam, meeting with Chungnam Governor Kim Tae-heum, and then meet Daejeon Mayor Lee Jang-woo at Daejeon City Hall before heading to schedules in Incheon and Gyeonggi Province. She will also attend a party member meeting with the Daejeon mayor, a joint party member meeting in Suwon, and a party member meeting in Bundang-gap, Seongnam.

Candidate Won Hee-ryong, who is the head of the Incheon Gyeyang-eul party committee, plans to meet with Incheon Mayor Yoo Jung-bok and then visit the Incheon City Hall press room. He will also conduct media interviews with outlets such as KBS.

Candidate Han Dong-hoon will meet Mayor Yoo ahead of Candidate Won, visit the Incheon City Hall press room, hold a party member meeting at the Incheon city party office, and conduct joint party member meetings for Incheon Seo-gu Gap, Eul, and Byeong districts. He will then move to Goyang City in Gyeonggi Province to hold joint party member meetings for Goyang Gap, Eul, Byeong, and Jeong districts. Throughout his schedule, he will also participate in interviews with the media.

Notably, Candidates Na, Won, and Han will attend the 70th anniversary ceremony of the Korea Freedom Federation held at the Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon on the same day. Since the Korea Freedom Federation is a security movement organization under the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the largest conservative organization, they plan to emphasize that they are suitable next party leader candidates who can stand against the opposition party, aiming to capture the core conservative support base.

Yoon Sang-hyun, the incumbent member of the National Assembly for Incheon Dong-gu and Michuhol-gu Eul, plans to focus on winning the hearts of TK voters on this day as well, following the previous day. Yoon will hold party member meetings in Uiseong and Cheongsong, Gyeongbuk, attend events at the Daegu city party office, and hold party member meetings in Yeongcheon, Gyeongju, Pohang Nam-eul, Pohang Buk-gu, and Yeongdeok·Uljin in Gyeongbuk.

On the previous day, Yoon held party member meetings in Daegu Buk-gu Gap and Eul, Seo-gu, Dalseong-gun, Gyeongbuk Gimcheon, Gumi-si Eul, and Goryeong-gun, Seongju-gun, Chilgok-gun.
