CONNECT HYUNDAI is a newly launched regionally customized and urban complex shopping mall by Hyundai Department Store, defined as a "playground connecting people, places, and culture." According to the company, it will be a complex store that sells the latest lifestyle brands as well as local content and experiential tenants reflecting Busan’s characteristics, offering both regular and off-season products simultaneously.

On the first basement floor of CONNECT HYUNDAI, there will be 'New Wave' for MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) customers, and on the second basement floor, 'Market 125' will be located. New Wave will feature over 20 designer brands newly entering, including domestic fashion brand Matin Kim, Marithe Francois Girbaud, Covernat, and Stand Oil.

Market 125 will include the department store’s first branch of 'Butter Record,' a famous dessert shop in the Busan National University area, 'Darijip,' one of Busan’s top three tteokbokki places, 'Dim Tao,' a Haeundae dim sum specialty restaurant listed in the 2024 Michelin Guide, and 'Oakberry,' a global dessert brand using acai berries.

On the first floor of CONNECT HYUNDAI, the first Korean store of 'Godiva Bakery,' a bread-specialized brand operated by the Belgian premium chocolate brand Godiva, will also open. The launch of Godiva Bakery is the second worldwide after Tokyo, Japan.

Hyundai Department Store is also considering further expansion of the CONNECT HYUNDAI model, including a new store scheduled to open next year in Cheongju, Chungbuk. Previously, Hyundai Department Store secured part of the site within the Cheongju Heungdeok-gu Express Bus Terminal, where modernization is underway due to aging facilities, and is preparing for a new store opening.
