Garden Club and Ani Avengers Night Garden Observation Wheel Operation
Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Noh Kwan-gyu) announced that it will hold the ‘Summer Garden Club Festa’ every weekend from July to August at Suncheonman Bay National Garden, which ranked first in domestic tourist visits last year.
The ‘Summer Garden Club Festa’ was planned as part of a cultural event to establish the National Garden as a unique garden culture delivery platform, utilizing the seasonal characteristics of summer to create a differentiated play culture.
This festa will feature the ‘Garden Club’ and the ‘Anivengers Night Garden Ferris Wheel,’ offering visitors a unique enjoyment and special experience to cool down the summer night heat.
The ‘Garden Club,’ accompanied by DJ performances, will be held every Saturday evening at 7:30 PM on the Space Hub runway, where visitors can enjoy exciting music, dance, and rap along with dazzling and dynamic performances by national-level drummers such as Jo Chan-woo, Kang Kyung-yoon, Jo Ki-hoon, and famous DJs.
In particular, the stage for the ‘Garden Club’ is a mobile art stage that fuses the analog and digital sensibilities of the National Garden, providing visitors with unique sights and fresh experiences, and is expected to become a new attraction of the National Garden.
The ‘Anivengers Night Garden Ferris Wheel,’ where visitors can enjoy the beautiful garden night view along with a cool breeze, will also be operated. It runs twice from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM every Saturday and Sunday and features a course touring the entire Dongwon area.
Operated only during the summer, the ‘Anivengers Night Garden Ferris Wheel’ allows about 60 people per session to board for free on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested can apply at the Ferris wheel stop in front of the botanical garden.
A representative of Suncheonman Bay National Garden said, “We hope that through the cultural events at the National Garden, the garden will be established not just as a space for simple viewing but as a place where various cultures and arts can be enjoyed,” adding, “We ask for much interest and participation in the ‘Summer Garden Club Festa,’ which will make summer nights in the garden even more special.”
