Samsung Electronics to Hire Experienced Professionals in Second Half to Secure Semiconductor Talent

Recruitment of Experienced Employees for All Business Divisions in the DS Sector

Samsung Electronics is making efforts to secure talent by recruiting experienced professionals in the semiconductor field (DS Division) in the second half of the year, following the first half.

Last week, Samsung Electronics announced the '2024 DS Division Experienced Employee Recruitment' and is accepting applications until the 9th. Following a round of experienced hires in February, the company is once again recruiting external talent in both the first and second halves of the year.


Samsung Electronics has posted job openings across all DS Division business units, including the Memory Business, System LSI Business, and Foundry Business. The Memory Business is hiring talent for roles related to next-generation DRAM and flash technology development. The Foundry Business is recruiting experienced professionals in areas such as special process development and yield analysis.


This experienced recruitment is notable as it is the first large-scale talent acquisition since Young-Hyun Jeon, Vice Chairman of Samsung Electronics, took office as head of the DS Division. As workforce development has emerged as the biggest challenge in the semiconductor industry, competition for talent acquisition among major semiconductor companies has recently intensified.


Samsung Electronics plans to select final hires through recruitment procedures including document screening, interviews, and health checkups after receiving applications.
