The consolation goods were provided through the 'Creating Happy Army Families' event held the previous day at the Locaus Hotel in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, in cooperation with the Army Headquarters. Creating Happy Army Families is a project promoted by the Army to instill pride in Army members and their families.
Easy Protein Choco is a product that contains 20g of high-quality milk protein (equivalent to 5.1 egg whites) per pack (250ml), carefully selected according to strict standards. Instead of sugar, it uses isomalto-oligosaccharide (prebiotics) to create a healthy and rich chocolate milk flavor. It also contains 4,000mg of dietary fiber, which is often insufficient in daily diets.
Previously, Lotte Wellfood signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Army Headquarters in 2021 to expand welfare support for the Army. This was to overcome the world's lowest birth rate and contribute to boosting the morale of Army soldiers dedicated to national defense. The main content of the agreement is to support welfare related to childbirth and childcare.
On this occasion, Lotte Wellfood has been steadily supporting Pasteur infant food products such as 'Upgrade With Mom Caesar' to families of Army officers expecting childbirth for four years. Additionally, it plans to expand cooperation by presenting 'Losfarm' gift sets to overseas dispatch troops and families of soldiers in remote units such as GP and GOP, and by providing company products including ice cream and dairy products at various Army events.
A Lotte Wellfood official said, "We delivered consolation goods to the Army Headquarters to express our gratitude to the soldiers who work hard to defend the country during the hot summer when physical exertion is high," adding, "We will continue to support happy Army families in the future."
