Gyeonggi Province will hold the 'Social Economy Expo' for two days on the 23rd and 24th at the Suwon Convention Center Convention Hall.
Under the theme "A Big Step to Make the World Better, Changing the Economic Paradigm," this expo will set up over 110 exhibition booths and offer various programs to help residents easily understand and experience the social economy.
On the first day, the 23rd, lectures on social economy and startup idea programs will take place.
The main programs include ▲ Social Economy Lectures ▲ Youth Social Economy Startup Idea Competition ▲ Impact Franchise Briefing ▲ Social Enterprise Capacity Building Training.
On the 24th, youth-centered programs carrying the future of the social economy and programs to enhance the capabilities of social economy organizations will be held, including ▲ Youth Talk Concert Changing the World ▲ Youth Idea Competition ▲ Open Innovation Workshop ▲ Impact Unicorn League ▲ IR (Investor Relations) Pitching Stage.
Additionally, there will be presentations for public institution priority purchasing officers and one-on-one business meetings between demand organizations and companies seeking to supply.
Yu Hoon, President of the Gyeonggi Social Economy Center, said, "Social economy is not difficult or grandiose; it is something that makes our lives better in various forms," adding, "I hope this expo will be an opportunity to share the value and present of social economy and an open venue to confirm its future."
