According to the legal community on the 2nd, cellist A submitted a letter of intent to appear as a witness to the Seoul Central District Court Civil Division 14 (Presiding Judge Jung Ha-jung) on the same day. Earlier, former committee member Han had requested A as a witness in June.

A is scheduled to appear as a witness at the trial on the 17th, which the court designated as the examination date.

The Cheongdam-dong drinking party suspicion involves allegations that former committee member Han held a late-night drinking party at a luxury bar in Cheongdam-dong on July 19-20, 2022, with President Yoon Seok-yeol and 30 lawyers from the law firm Kim & Chang.

A, who was the girlfriend of the initial whistleblower and claimed to have witnessed the event at the time, appeared before the police in November of the same year and stated that the suspicion was false.

In response, former committee member Han filed a 1 billion won lawsuit for damages against the initial whistleblower, the YouTube media outlet Citizen Press The Tamza reporters who reported the suspicion, and former Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Ui-gyeom, who mentioned the suspicion during the National Assembly audit in December.

Currently, the prosecution is investigating Kang Jin-gu, former representative of The Tamza (currently editor-in-chief and senior reporter of New Tamza), on charges including defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act for reporting the suspicion.
