According to this agreement, Jangseong-gun and the Trade Corporation will cooperate on ▲exchange of personnel, technology, and information to expand exports of domestic agricultural and food products and develop the industry ▲practicing carbon neutrality in the agricultural and food sector by participating in the ‘Low Carbon Diet Campaign’ ▲mutual cooperation for stabilizing supply and demand of agricultural and fishery products, improving distribution structures, and promoting consumption.
The county expects this to play a key role not only in expanding exports of local agricultural specialties but also as a logistics hub in the northern Jeollanam-do region.
Governor Kim Han-jong said, “This agreement will serve as the foundation for establishing the ‘Gourmet City Jangseong’ brand, leading the global Korean food wave,” and added, “We will create a synergistic effect through active cooperation.”
