Gwangju Seo-gu Council Completes Formation of the 9th Term Second Half Leadership

The Seo-gu Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City held the 2nd plenary session of the 323rd extraordinary meeting on the 2nd at the 2nd floor plenary hall of the Seo-gu Council and announced the completion of the formation of the chairperson group to lead the 9th term second half Seo-gu Council.

During the plenary session, the standing committees were formed and chairpersons were elected as follows: ▲ Im Seong-hwa was elected as Chairperson of the Council Steering Committee ▲ Kim Gyun-ho as Chairperson of the Planning and General Affairs Committee ▲ Ahn Hyeong-ju as Chairperson of the Social and Urban Committee.

Chairperson Ko Gyeong-ae, concluding the first half of the 9th term, expressed gratitude to all council members who worked together during the first half and said, “I support the newly formed council in the second half to become more united and develop further.” She also added, “I hope you will continue to listen to the voices of the residents and do your best for the development of Seo-gu.”

Meanwhile, the Seo-gu Council plans to open the 324th extraordinary meeting in mid-month to listen to the main directions of the 8th elected district administration’s key tasks and handle general agenda items, marking the start of full-scale legislative activities.
