Hyundai Motor Company is launching a program that offers electric vehicle experiences at the Hilton Resort located in the world-renowned vacation destination of Hawaii.
On the 2nd, Hyundai Motor Company announced that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement (MOU) with Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) Asia Pacific and Hawaii headquarters, a global timeshare resort operator, to expand electric vehicle experiences for global customers.
Through this partnership, starting this summer, both companies plan to run the "Hyundai Mobility Passport in Kona" program, allowing HGV membership subscribers and customers using HGV resorts in Hawaii to experience Hyundai electric vehicles locally in Hawaii.
Hyundai Motor Company, led by its Japan subsidiary, has already been running the "Hyundai Mobility Passport" campaign since April on Oahu Island, Hawaii, where customers can experience the Ioniq 5 and Tucson Hybrid.
Through this MOU, Hyundai plans to expand the program previously operated by its Japan subsidiary to increase brand awareness. In particular, Hawaii is expected to have good accessibility to potential customers due to its high environmental awareness and the recent increase in electric vehicle usage.
A Hyundai Motor Company representative said, "Through this collaboration, we will strive to enable customers to seamlessly experience electric vehicles wherever they travel around the world."
