"Leave a Rating and Get a Lala Sweet"... CU Relaunches Delivery App

Improved Convenience by Fully Displaying Core Features
UI Enhancements... Increased Intuitiveness and Visibility
Renewal Commemoration Promotion Until the End of This Month

CU, a convenience store operated by BGF Retail, announced on the 2nd that it has renewed and reopened its dedicated parcel app 'CUpost' and is conducting related promotions.

CUpost is a convenience store parcel-exclusive app that consolidates parcel-related services such as budget parcels, domestic parcels, and international express parcels that can be sent from CU stores.

Earlier this year, CU renewed the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of its parcel equipment (Postbox), and from May 13, it expanded the delivery service area of CU Budget Parcel to include all island regions nationwide.

To improve customer convenience, CU has revamped the app’s UI and UX in a more intuitive and easy way this time. First, the main screen, which previously emphasized discount benefits, was reorganized around the functions most frequently used by users. Core functions such as ▲Parcel Reservation ▲Store Finder ▲POSTBOX QR Login ▲Delivery Tracking are placed prominently, allowing access to these services with just one click.

Recent usage history and urgent notification features have also been added to the main page. Notifications about app updates or weather conditions such as heavy rain or snow appear at the top of the main screen, while recent usage history can be checked immediately at the bottom of the main menu.

Unnecessary steps such as pop-up windows asking whether to save addresses during parcel reservations have been removed. Instead, the interface has been improved to follow the service flow from reception type to delivery address input. Functions like reservation inquiry and store finder have enhanced visibility to guide customers more intuitively to the information they want.

CU is running a renewal opening promotion for the CUpost app until the end of this month. Customers who use parcel services through CUpost during July can enter a draw to win prizes such as an iPad Air, Airwrap Multi Styler, and Stanley Tumbler by sending just one parcel.

New members who sign up for CUpost will receive discount coupons of 500 KRW for domestic parcels and 300 KRW for budget parcels immediately upon registration. Members with no usage for three months will be given a welcome coupon totaling 1,300 KRW (800 KRW for domestic parcels, 500 KRW for budget parcels). Every Monday at 8 a.m., the first 25,000 customers will receive 300 KRW discount coupons for both domestic and budget parcels.

Additionally, those who leave a rating for the updated CUpost app on the Google Store and enter the event page will receive one Larasweet ice cream voucher each.

Shin Sang-yong, head of the BGF Retail Service Platform Team, said, "We have completely renewed the app to allow easy and fast access to the core functions of the parcel service by reflecting customer feedback so far," adding, "We will continue to introduce various lifestyle services that customers need by leveraging the nation’s largest network."

Meanwhile, the discount event for CU Budget Parcel delivery service to island regions currently in progress will continue until the end of this month. When combined with the shipping discount event on Pocket CU, the service can be used from as low as 1,600 KRW.
