Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) encouraged employees by setting up a food truck in front of the district office plaza on the morning of the first day of the second half of 2024.
Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, personally handed out snacks and drinks, expressing his gratitude to the employees who have worked together over the past two years of the 8th elected term to create a “pleasant and safe Dongdaemun-gu.”
The employees presented the mayor with hiking boots as a symbol of their hope that he will continue to work hard for Dongdaemun-gu during the remainder of his term.
On the same day, along with snacks, the district office distributed “Integrity Notices” containing ▲the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act at a glance ▲the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act ▲methods for preventing and reporting power abuse, and conducted an “Integrity Campaign” urging efforts to foster a culture of integrity within the organization.
In particular, the mayor and employees held placards expressing their commitment to integrity and shouted “Integrity, Dongdaemun!” pledging to eradicate corruption and promote transparent administration.
Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, said, “Thanks to the dedication and passion of the employees over the past two years, we have been able to lead new changes in Dongdaemun-gu.” He added, “Let us continue to strive to make Dongdaemun-gu pleasant, safe, and transparent.”
Meanwhile, that afternoon, Mayor Lee visited Samyook Seoul Hospital (82 Mangu-ro, Dongdaemun-gu) to encourage the medical staff and requested their continued efforts for the health of the residents despite difficult circumstances.
