"Contributing to Jindo-gun's Development with 33 Years of Administrative Experience"
Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that Kim Seon-ju, the 32nd Deputy Governor, took office on the 1st.
Deputy Governor Kim Seon-ju is from Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do. She graduated from Gwangju Gyeongshin Girls' High School and Chonnam National University, and began her public service career in August 1991 as a Grade 9 public official in her hometown Hampyeong, 33 years ago.
She has held key positions such as Head of the Regulatory Reform Team at the Jeollanam-do Job Policy Office, Planning and Administration Specialist at the Provincial Council, and Head of the Council Cooperation Team at the Planning and Coordination Office. Recognized for her outstanding work performance, she was promoted to Local Secretary in July 2021, served as the Jeollanam-do Women's Policy Support Officer and Director of the Job Policy Division, and then took office as Deputy Governor of Jindo-gun.
In her inaugural speech, Deputy Governor Kim Seon-ju said, “I am grateful for the warm welcome and consider it an honor to work in Jindo, the treasure island and the hometown of elegant music.” She added, “Based on the administrative experience I have accumulated, I will devote all my efforts to ensuring that the projects planned and underway in Jindo-gun proceed smoothly, and do my best to realize ‘Jindo, a good place to live where the residents are the owners.”
