Busan Port Authority to Fully Implement 'Electronic Delivery Order' at All Busan Port Terminals Starting July 1

Achieved 90% Usage Rate Six Months After App Launch

Real-Time Updates on Work Status and More... Check via App

Busan Port Authority (BPA) will fully implement the electronic delivery slip (e-slip) system for all container terminals at Busan Port starting July 1.

Busan Port Authority to Fully Implement 'Electronic Delivery Order' at All Busan Port Terminals Starting July 1 Vehicles are passing through the electronic slip exclusive gate at the new port pier.

BPA has transitioned from issuing paper delivery slips upon port entry to an electronic delivery slip system via the mobile app (AllCon-e), with the goal of minimizing truck drivers' need to leave their vehicles inside the port and preventing safety accidents.

AllCon-e is a mobile app developed by Busan Port Authority exclusively for truck drivers, allowing them to use services such as the Vehicle Booking System (VBS), Transshipment Transportation System (TSS), and electronic delivery slip (e-slip).

Through this app, not only is the work location indicated on the traditional paper delivery slip provided, but also real-time updates on loading and unloading locations, container inspection and cleaning status, and other work situations. The app also supports voice services, enabling drivers to work without looking at their phones while driving.

Since the distribution of the electronic delivery slip service in mid-December last year, BPA has applied it to terminal operators at Busan Port, identified numerous requirements and areas for improvement, and continuously enhanced the app to improve system stability and user convenience.

Additionally, BPA has operated dedicated promotional booths inside the terminals to educate truck drivers on the electronic delivery slip and its usage, and has actively promoted the system through the installation of banners and distribution of leaflets.

Currently, about 90% of all container gate-in and gate-out operations at Busan Port utilize the electronic delivery slip, with over 14,000 truck drivers using the BPA mobile app. Despite less than six months since its launch, the app has achieved a significant usage rate.

With the full implementation of the electronic delivery slip, it is expected that the annual costs of issuing more than 20 million paper delivery slips will be reduced, safety accidents will be prevented by minimizing driver disembarkation within the port, and work efficiency will be improved through real-time updates on work situations.

Kang Junseok, President of BPA, stated, "Thanks to the active cooperation of terminal operators at Busan Port and direct, field-oriented communication with truck drivers, we were able to successfully implement the electronic delivery slip system in just six months. Based on this case, we will continue our efforts for the digital transformation of the port by establishing various additional services in the future."
