The EU Center at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies announced on the 1st that it will hold a Korea-EU conference on the 2nd under the theme of "Cooperation between Korea and the European Union on Security and Global Value Chains."

The conference will feature Michael Reiterer, former Ambassador of the EU Delegation to Korea and Chair Professor at the Brussels School of Governance, and Yoon Soon-gu, former Ambassador of the EU to Korea and Visiting Professor at Seoul National University Graduate School of International Studies. Experts from Korea and Europe will discuss the direction of the new international order witnessing deglobalization, US-China strategic conflicts, and the resurgence of geopolitics.
A representative from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies stated, "The Indo-Pacific is emerging as a key concept in the global landscape," adding, "It is expected that stakeholders in the region will review the process of building a new order and create momentum for bilateral cooperation."
