Asan City Council Completes Formation of the 9th Term Second Half Leadership Team

The Asan City Council in Chungnam has completed the formation of the 9th term's second half leadership.

According to the Asan City Council on the 1st, the 250th extraordinary session was held that day, and the election of the standing committee chairpersons for the second half was completed.

Last week, the council elected Hong Seong-pyo of the Democratic Party as chairman and Maeng Ui-seok of the People Power Party as vice chairman. The council then finalized the election of Kim Mi-seong of the Democratic Party as chairperson of the Operations Committee, Jeon Nam-su of the People Power Party as chairperson of the Planning and Administration Committee, Lee Chun-ho of the Democratic Party as chairperson of the Culture and Environment Committee, and Kim Eun-bok of the Democratic Party as chairperson of the Construction and Urban Committee.

Notably, among the four standing committee chairpersons of the Asan City Council, three are first-term members except for Jeon Nam-su, chairperson of the Planning and Administration Committee.
