16 Executives Promoted, Significant Appointment of Women and Young Talent

EY Han Young announced on the 1st that it has carried out its regular partner-level personnel appointments for 2024. A total of 48 people were promoted in this round, and 27 new partners were newly appointed.

This personnel appointment aims to meet the diverse expectations of EY Han Young’s clients and to strengthen continuous growth and market competitiveness. Professionals with proven expertise in various fields such as audit, tax, strategy, M&A, consulting, digital, and finance were selected.
Jun Kwon Yang, Executive Director of the Audit Division, was promoted to Head of Quality Control Office, and In Sik Jung, Executive Director, was promoted to Head of the International Tax and M&A Tax Advisory Headquarters in the Tax Division. Additionally, Tae Min Gil and Sang Beom Lee, Executive Directors, were appointed as co-leaders of the newly established M&A Solutions Group within the Strategy and Financial Advisory Division. A total of 16 people, including Seon Gu Kang, Min Seong Kim, Geun Young Park, Soo Min Park, Dong Chun Son, Deok Su Ahn, Yong Kwon Lee, Jong Seon Lee, Jeong Seon Lee, Chan Young Lee, Chang Ho Lee, Chang Hyun Lee, Seok Chae Lee, Dae Hyung Jung, Seong Yeon Hwang, and In Hoe Hwang, were promoted to Executive Director.
Notably, female partners Soo Min Park from the Audit Division and Jeong Seon Lee from the Financial Business Division were promoted to Executive Director, and five new female partners were newly promoted. This reflects EY Han Young’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as core values. Furthermore, by appointing younger partners, the average age has lowered to 45, with those born in the 1980s making up the majority, and five partners in their 30s included.
