Declaration Ceremony of Shared Value
On the 1st, Park Kyung-guk, President of the Korea Gas Safety Corporation (center), and 10 members of the MZ generation are having a talk concert.
The Korea Gas Safety Corporation announced that it has selected 'Somyeong' (Mission) as the shared value embodying the philosophy of its organizational operation and held a proclamation ceremony at the headquarters auditorium on the 1st.
A representative of the Gas Safety Corporation explained, "To develop President Park Kyung-guk's management philosophy of 'Inbon (Human-centered) Management' into an organizational culture, we conducted a process to select shared values as a direction for all employees to move forward together through employee contests and public surveys over about four months starting in February this year. Through this, we ultimately selected 'Somyeong' with the meaning that 'employees fulfill their responsibilities in their respective positions and protect gas safety entrusted by the people.'
Furthermore, the Gas Safety Corporation plans to make efforts to spread the shared values by preparing and promoting various internalization measures through the '100-Year Committee' composed of external experts and the 'MZ 10-Person Committee' composed of MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) employees.
Following the proclamation ceremony, President Park attended a talk concert with the MZ 10-Person Committee, the corporation’s innovation junior board, stating, "Today marks the first step toward the corporation’s future leap," and added, "Based on Somyeong, we will strive harder to innovate gas safety and build a dynamic organizational culture."
