8-meter giant signature photo spot 'Hipseidon', LED special stage set up
Caribbean Bay, the water park of Samsung C&T Resort Division Everland, announced on the 1st that it will hold the summer festival 'Mega Wave Festival' from the 5th of this month to the 18th of next month.
The main content of the Caribbean Bay summer festival is 'Club Cabi.' It is a water music pool party where you can enjoy refreshing water play and exciting music together in the wave pool. It is held every evening at the giant outdoor club wave pool. Famous DJs such as Junkoco, Bandallok, and Judy play K-pop, EDM, and hip-hop music.
Every weekend, special stages are held featuring idols like Apink and QWER (Q Double U R), as well as hip-hop artists like Dynamic Duo and B.O. A new 8m high giant signature sculpture 'Hipseidon' and a dazzling LED special stage are newly introduced in the wave pool.
This year's 'Physical Cabi' on-site event is held in collaboration with Nexen Tire. It was a hot event last summer with enthusiastic participation from fitness enthusiasts. It will be held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from the 26th of this month to the 10th of next month in the Sanhuang area. Anyone can participate.
There are three physical missions: balance board core stability (core), pull-ups and hanging on the bar (muscle), and tire flipping (power & speed). If you complete all the missions, you will receive a physical certification stamp and random Nexen Tire goods such as air fresheners and grip tokens as gifts.
On the day of the event, from 3 PM every day, the 'Physical Cabi Challenge' will be held for the first 30 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, competing to set records within a time limit. The first place winner will receive a 10-don pure gold medal, and the second and third place winners will receive 5-don and 3-don pure gold bars respectively. The first place winner will also receive a daily Nexen Tire exchange voucher.

A 'Selfie Cabi' photo zone where visitors can take hip photos with Hipseidon has also been prepared in various ways. A 5m long giant Hipseidon sunglasses sculpture has been installed in the center of the wave pool beach.
During the festival, an SNS certification shot event will be held. If you upload a photo taken at Caribbean Bay on Instagram and verify it at the event booth in front of the wave pool, you will receive special goods such as Hipseidon tridents, Club Cabi T-shirts, and tattoo stickers for free on a first-come, first-served basis.
Meanwhile, Caribbean Bay will open additional water play facilities such as water bobsleigh and tube rides with the opening of the summer festival.
A special event allowing visitors to use both the water park Caribbean Bay and the theme park Everland in one day will also be held. From the 5th of this month to the 25th of next month, customers who purchase an all-day pass for Caribbean Bay can use Everland for free from 1 PM, and Caribbean Bay afternoon customers can use Everland for free from 5 PM.
