NVT Builds and Operates Domestic Service Offer Wall for Metaverse Platform 'Zepeto'

KOSDAQ-listed company NBT has built and operates ‘Adison,’ the nation’s No.1 offerwall network service, on the metaverse platform ‘ZEPETO’ for its domestic service.


On the 1st, NBT announced that it signed an offerwall service partnership agreement with NAVER Z, the operator of ZEPETO. Starting from this partnership, NBT will newly build and operate the offerwall system on the domestic service of the ZEPETO metaverse platform operated by NAVER Z.


The company plans to link the ‘Free Gems·Coins’ menu located on the home screen of the ZEPETO app to the offerwall service. ZEPETO users will complete various missions provided by the newly established offerwall and earn the virtual currency ‘ZEM,’ which can be used for purchasing various items sold within the platform.


Launched as a metaverse platform in 2018, ZEPETO currently serves about 200 countries worldwide, including South Korea, with a cumulative user base of approximately 400 million. With about 95% of users accessing from overseas, ZEPETO has established itself as a virtual platform where users can not only consume content but also create their own avatars, fashion, feeds, and even the spaces they inhabit.


Through this partnership, the company aims to successfully establish the offerwall service as a new case introduced to the domestic metaverse industry and use it as a stepping stone for global market expansion.


An NBT representative said, “Since the metaverse platform primarily secures young users in their teens and twenties who are familiar with mobile, we will strive to establish the offerwall system as a welcomed reward content.” He added, “We will build a successful offerwall service case on the ZEPETO platform, which has become one of the leading metaverse platforms globally.” He further stated, “Moreover, we will take this opportunity not only to expand global service partnerships but also to have Adison offerwall recognized as an essential consumable in the global IT platform industry.”


Holding the No.1 market share in the domestic offerwall industry, NBT’s Adison offerwall network service has continued its record-breaking annual sales despite challenging market conditions centered around the domestic and international economic downturn since its launch in 2018. Last year, aiming to expand growth momentum, the company actively began entering overseas markets starting with North America, followed by Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Taiwan.
