72 New Appointments in 7 Administrative and Related Job Categories
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held an appointment ceremony for 72 new public officials at the City Hall Citizens' Hall.
The new public officials to be appointed as of July 1 include 55 in administration, 2 librarians, 1 in engineering (mechanical), 1 in green resources (forest resources), 2 in medical technology (1 clinical pathology, 1 radiology), 10 in facilities (9 architecture, 1 cadastral), and 1 driver, covering a total of 7 job categories.
At the appointment ceremony held on the 28th, the new public officials pledged to prioritize the rights and interests of citizens and the public good as servants of the people, and to become transparent public officials who communicate with citizens, through the awarding of appointment certificates and the reading of the oath.
Before starting their official duties, the newly assigned public officials will receive orientation training on overall municipal administration, and will be deployed to affiliated agencies, business offices, district offices, and towns, townships, and neighborhoods of Changwon Special City, where they will begin providing public services to promote regional development and the welfare of citizens.
In particular, this new round of appointments is expected to fill vacancies caused by leaves of absence and retirements, thereby providing more stable administrative services.
