A large home appliance delivery worker has been confirmed to have committed illegal filming crimes against multiple female customers after secretly entering a female customer's home using the front door password he learned during a refrigerator delivery and engaging in obscene acts.
On the 28th, the Saha Police Station in Busan announced that during the investigation of Mr. A (male, in his 40s), who delivers refrigerators for a major company and was arrested last month on charges of trespassing, they additionally confirmed charges of illegal filming.

Mr. A is suspected of secretly entering the home of a female customer in her 20s, Ms. B, on December last year using the front door password he learned while delivering a refrigerator, and committing obscene acts while she was away.
Ms. B usually left her home on weekdays to go to work, but on a day she stayed home due to personal reasons, she witnessed Mr. A's intrusion and reported it to the police.
At the time, Mr. A rang the doorbell several times to check if anyone was home, and when there was no response, he entered the house by entering the password on the front door. When Ms. B, who was inside, belatedly asked, "Who is it?" Mr. A fled via the stairs, and the police who responded to the report tracked and arrested him.
During the police investigation, digital forensic analysis of Mr. A's mobile phone revealed dozens of photos secretly taken of the bodies of 12 women.
All the victims were customers who had ordered home appliances from the major company, and Mr. A had set the camera to silent mode to take pictures. The victims were completely unaware that Mr. A was photographing them.
It was investigated that Mr. A committed the crimes while responsible for deliveries in parts of Busan and Gyeongnam from April last year.
When subjected to police investigation, Mr. A deleted some of the photos, but through forensics and searches, the police confirmed the date, time, and location of the deleted photos. The police added charges of filming under the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes against Mr. A and sent him to prosecution in custody.
