Department of Airline Service Students Win Second and Third Place
The Department of Aviation Service at Silla University (President: Heo Namsik) announced on the 28th that two of its students won second and third place at the '2024 Miss Intercontinental Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Contest'.
At the regional contest held on the 26th at the Changwon Convention Center in Changwon, Gyeongnam, students Jung Iryeong and Kang Minseo from the Department of Aviation Service participated and secured second and third place, earning the opportunity to compete in the national contest.
The Miss Intercontinental pageant, one of the world's top five beauty contests, began in 1971 and the Korean contest has been held annually by First Foundation Co., Ltd. since 2011. It is a global beauty festival that evaluates not only external beauty but also individual talent.
Jung Iryeong, a student from Silla University's Department of Aviation Service who won second place in this contest, said, "After taking the image making course in my department, I have been striving to create a likable image as a prospective service professional," and added, "Since I entered the contest with great courage, I hope to achieve good results at the national contest and advance to the world stage."
