Citizens of Incheon identified the public transportation fare support programs, 'Incheon I-Pass' and 'Metropolitan I-Pass,' as the top policies of the 8th term municipal government.
Incheon City announced on the 28th that these results came from a citizen survey conducted from the 5th to the 19th via the city’s website and blog, targeting 10 major projects.
The survey, which involved 12,996 citizens (62% in their 30s and 40s), was conducted by rating each project on a 5-point scale, with Incheon I-Pass and Metropolitan I-Pass receiving the highest score of 4.38.
The Incheon I-Pass is a system that offers a 20% discount on public transportation fares without usage limits (30% for youth and 53% for low-income groups), and the Metropolitan I-Pass, set to be introduced in August, is a commuter pass for the Incheon?Seoul metropolitan bus route.
