Hongseong-gun Signs Agreement with LG HelloVision and Sinsen P&F

'Hanwoo Sirloin Grill' using Hongseong garlic from Chungnam will be launched.

On the 28th, Lee Yong-rok, the governor of Hongseong County, signed a business agreement with LG HelloVision and Sinsen P&F to launch the 'Hongseong Garlic Hanwoo Sirloin Grill' product.

According to the agreement, LG HelloVision and Sinsen P&F will develop and launch the Hongseong Garlic Hanwoo Sirloin Grill, maximizing the umami of Hanwoo beef by using a sauce made from Hongseong garlic.

The county will support product development and promotion.

Unlike imported garlic, Hongseong garlic has a green top and contains more than 45% higher allicin, which has antibacterial properties, than other varieties. Its sugar content is also high at 42 Brix, making it popular in the market as it pairs well with meat.

Governor Lee said, "The Hanwoo sirloin grill using Hongseong garlic is just the beginning," adding, "We will continue to develop products using local agricultural specialties such as Hongseong pork and Hanwoo beef and work to expand sales channels."
