Candidate Won will hold meetings with the Jinju Gap and Eul party member councils in Gyeongnam and have a meeting with Park Wan-su, Governor of Gyeongnam. Afterwards, he will visit Masan Fish Market in Changwon City and hold a meeting at the Masan Hoe-won-gu party member council. Candidate Han will start the day by paying respects at the UN Memorial Cemetery in Busan, then meet with party members in Nam-gu, Haeundae Gap and Eul, Busanjin Gap and Eul, Yeonje, Gangseo, and Saha-eul. Candidate Han also plans to have a tea meeting with Park Hyung-joon, Mayor of Busan.

Since the party member voting ratio is high at 80% in this party convention, candidates are focusing on Yeongnam, where responsible party members make up 40% (about 320,000) of the total. The day before, the non-incumbent candidates Han Dong-hoon and Won Hee-ryong visited Daegu and Busan respectively. A ruling party official explained, "Ahead of the main race such as regional joint debates, the candidates are likely trying to secure as many allies as possible in their key support areas."
