Park Yong-seok (57), appointed as Chief Secretary, is the head of the Jeonbuk Province Seoul Headquarters. He graduated from Gunsan Jeil High School and Jeonbuk National University with a degree in Political Science and Diplomacy. He has worked in the office of a member of the National Assembly, the 18th Presidential Transition Committee, and the 8th elected term Jeonbuk Governor’s Transition Committee.

The background for his selection is reportedly Governor Kim’s high evaluation of the new Chief Secretary’s significant role in the passage of the Jeonbuk Special Act and in attracting businesses.

The new Chief Secretary Park is regarded as a communicative talent with political and balanced sensibilities, considered the right person to assist the provincial administration for the remaining two years.
