Police Conduct Search and Seizure at Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute on Bribery Charges

The police have launched a forced investigation into Choi Heung-jin, the head of the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI), who is accused of bribery.

On the 27th, the Anti-Corruption Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that they conducted a search and seizure at the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute in Seoul the previous day.

Choi is suspected of accepting bribes amounting to tens of millions of won.

The search and seizure began in the morning and concluded late in the afternoon, targeting the Business Support Office and Corporate Development Office of KEITI located in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul.
