The summer golf course membership market continues to show differentiated trends by category.
According to the Donga Membership Trading Center on the 29th, the average price of 100 major memberships traded nationwide is 257.49 million KRW. This is a 0.19% increase compared to last week. By price range, the ultra-high price segment rose 0.11%, the high price segment 0.26%, the mid-price segment 0.38%, and the low price segment 0.08%. Overall, it is a period of declining transaction volume. The average price has slightly increased. Popular golf courses still face a shortage of listings. The Donga Membership Trading Center stated, "Buyers are maintaining a wait-and-see stance. Transaction volume has not increased compared to last week. The golf membership market amid the heatwave is expected to see intense tactical competition."
The average price in the central region is 291.68 million KRW, up 0.19% from last week. At 88, the bid-ask spread has narrowed, facilitating transactions, with a 0.95% increase. New Korea rose 1.01%, and Lakewood increased 1.15%. Blue One-Yongin, which had sharply declined due to parent company issues, is gradually recovering. Due to a shortage of listings, it jumped 1.38%. Songchu rose 1.23%, Suwon 0.81%, and Ipo surged 3.13%. Deputy Manager Moon Jong-sung predicted, "The price negotiation between sellers and buyers in the central region membership market will continue."
The average price in the southern region is 169 million KRW, up 0.21% from last week. Busan rose 1.30% without any transactions. Seonsan also increased 2.73% due to accumulated buy orders. Bora and Jeongsan have seen increased corporate purchase inquiries, but listings have disappeared. Team Leader Lee Yoon-hee said, "Low-priced memberships are maintaining a slightly weak trend without significant price fluctuations," and added, "The southern region membership market is expected to maintain a generally stable trend except for popular golf courses."
