Kakao announced on the 27th that it held a 'Store Growth Strategy Special Lecture & Seller Networking Day' for 25 companies selected for the final practical course of the 2024 Strong Small Business Growth Support Project, operated in collaboration with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service.
Kakao has been conducting the 'Strong Small Business' project education program called 'Kakao Shopping Adding Value' from April to November this year, targeting stores registered on KakaoTalk Store to discover small business owners with entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, and creative and innovative items.
Participating businesses learn the overall curriculum including operation strategies of the KakaoTalk Store platform, Kakao Shopping Live, and Kakao advertising. Additionally, they receive one-on-one mentor coaching and participate in planned exhibitions to help accelerate their sales capabilities.
Song Juhyun, CEO of Badasup, a seaweed product brand from Seosan who participated in this event, said, "Participating in Kakao Shopping Adding Value, a strong small business growth support project, has been a great help through Kakao's excellent educational curriculum."
A Kakao Commerce official stated, "Going forward, KakaoTalk Store will continue efforts for mutual growth through in-depth educational programs and support policies."
