On the 27th, SKT announced that it will newly launch 'Uju Pass Netflix,' which allows users to access Netflix on its subscription platform 'T Uju.'

This is the result of a strategic partnership signed last year among SKT, SK Broadband, and Netflix. Last month, SK Broadband marked the beginning of the collaboration by launching four 'B tv x Netflix' plans.

Through Uju Pass Netflix, which will be released tomorrow (28th), SKT will provide both Netflix, a leading domestic and international online video service (OTT), and Wavve services together.

Subscribers can choose one of Netflix's ▲Ad-Supported Standard (5,500 KRW) ▲Standard (13,500 KRW) ▲Premium (17,000 KRW) plans. These plans are combined with Wavve's content pack (7,900 KRW) and offered at up to 10% discounted prices. The Wavve content pack allows users to enjoy over 100 channels including terrestrial and comprehensive programming in real-time and download VOD up to 10 times.

Until August 31, if users download a coupon from the event page on the 'T Uju' site and subscribe to the Ad-Supported Standard plan of Uju Pass Netflix, they can use the service for two months at 9,900 KRW, which is a 25% discount compared to subscribing to Netflix and Wavve separately.

Prior to the launch of this subscription product, SKT CEO Yoo Young-sang visited Netflix headquarters in Los Angeles, USA, last month. He discussed various areas of cooperation between the two companies, including AI technology and content, with Ted Sarandos, co-CEO of Netflix.

SKT and SK Broadband plan to build a long-term cooperative relationship based on the launch of the collaborative product with Netflix.

Yoon Jae-woong, Head of SKT Subscription CO (Vice President), stated, "SKT will continue to create subscription services that enhance customer benefits through cooperation with various partners."
