Expansion of Sustainable Aviation Fuel... Korean Air Partners with French CEVA Logistics

Logistics Companies Also Participate in SAF Purchases
Korean Air Shares Carbon Emission Reduction Achievements

Korean Air is partnering with French logistics company Seba Logistics to expand the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

Korean Air announced on the 27th that it has signed a partnership agreement with Seba Logistics for the use of SAF.

Accordingly, Seba Logistics will participate in purchasing SAF used for logistics transportation, and Korean Air will share the carbon emission reduction performance resulting from SAF use with Seba Logistics. Additionally, both companies have agreed to promote the activation and awareness of SAF use to reduce carbon emissions generated in the logistics sector.

Seba Logistics is the third company to participate in Korean Air's "Customer Participation SAF Program." Previously, since its launch in September last year, domestic logistics company LX Pantos and Japanese logistics company Yusen Logistics have formed partnerships.

Um Jae-dong, Head of Korean Air's Cargo Business Division, said, "We will continue to expand partnerships with companies to create an environment where customers can directly contribute to decarbonization."

Olivier Bocara, Leader of Seba Logistics' Asia-Pacific Air and Sea Freight Division, said, "Introducing SAF to the Asian market is a key way we can contribute to the decarbonization of the air cargo industry."
