Jin Gyo-hoon, Gangseo District Mayor, Attends Opening Ceremony of Gangseo Distribution Complex Customer Support Center

Jin Gyo-hoon, Mayor of Gangseo District Office in Seoul, attended the opening ceremony of the ‘Gangseo Distribution Complex Customer Support Center’ located in Hwagok 8-dong on the afternoon of the 26th.

The opening ceremony was held with about 40 attendees, including Lee Jong-man, chairman of the Gangseo Distribution Complex Association, heads of local traditional market associations, and local residents, and proceeded in the order of ▲pre-ceremony performance ▲construction progress report ▲facility tour.

The construction of the Customer Support Center was promoted after being selected in the 2018 Traditional Market and Shopping District Revitalization Contest, with a total floor area of 299.93㎡ from basement level 1 to the 5th floor above ground, featuring ▲customer rest area ▲buyer consultation room ▲conference room, and more.

Chairman Lee Jong-man said, “After a long preparation period, it is deeply moving to finally open,” and added, “We will do our best to become a distribution complex that harmonizes and coexists with local residents.”

Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon responded, “We did our best even if it took some time to build a resident-centered space,” and said, “I hope the Customer Support Center will serve not only as a community gathering place for residents but also as an opportunity to revitalize the distribution complex.”
