Fostering Professionals Skilled in Utilizing Artificial Intelligence Technologies

The National Institute for Korean Medicine Development will hold the '2024 Korean Medicine Data Analysis Practical Workshop (1st Session)' on July 6.

This workshop is open to anyone interested in Korean medicine, big data, and artificial intelligence, and is intended for those who have basic knowledge of Python programming.


The general education program aimed at nurturing interdisciplinary talent in Korean medicine and data fields will be held twice, and registration is limited to the first 30 applicants (15 in-person, 15 online) on a first-come, first-served basis, starting from the 26th.


The event will consist of an introduction to network pharmacology for identifying the efficacy and mechanisms of herbal medicines, as well as hands-on Korean medicine network analysis using Python.


Participants will gain practical data analysis experience through exercises such as building herbal ingredient and target-related networks, network analysis and visualization, and reinterpretation of indications.


Online participants will receive a Zoom link and lecture materials via email in advance, and a certificate of completion will be awarded to those who finish the program.
