Accordingly, the trainer, who signs a contract with the horse owner and is practically in charge of the overall management and training of racehorses, is expected to be responsible for the safety of their assigned stable and to implement systematic racehorse training management.

This new system is a follow-up measure to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, which was expanded earlier this year to workplaces with fewer than 50 employees. Its goal is to institutionalize proactive safety measures to prevent accidents at the workplace and to strengthen the sense of responsibility among those involved in horse racing.

Last year, LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam noted that a significant number of accidents at the workplace occurred during racehorse training activities and began preparing measures to prevent recurring accidents during racehorse training.

The main content of the Training Management Responsibility System is that when a racehorse consignment management contract is signed between the horse owner and the trainer, the trainer is designated and specified as the person responsible for training management for each racehorse, and a pledge to comply with safety regulations is prepared. Through this, the trainer, who is entrusted with the authority for consignment management of the racehorse from the horse owner, is expected to make efforts to prevent accidents throughout all training processes.

In addition, LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam has reflected this newly established system in the horse racing stakeholders' computerized system to improve user convenience, and plans to actively promote the new system for its stable operation and settlement.

LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam stated, "The significance of introducing this system lies in establishing a foundation for horse racing stakeholders to take an active role in safe training management. We will continue to make every effort to prevent accidents at the workplace in the future."
