Activation of Collaborative Projects in the Pole Dance Field
Domestic sports brand Pollab announced on the 13th that it has signed a business agreement with Aura J Pole Dance to research and develop a pole dance grip product.
This agreement includes △consultation and cooperation support for grip product research and development △increase in the pole dance population △cooperation support for improving the perception of pole dance and expanding its base.
Pollab developed an eco-friendly liquid grip product that provides excellent grip, moisturizing, and soothing effects by using aloe vera leaf extract, rather than simple chemicals, to enhance adhesion on friction areas, based on 30 test sessions and advice from professional pole dancers over a year and a half.
Powder-type grip products had inconveniences such as powder scattering and dry hands, but the 'Pollab Hand Grip' has improved these drawbacks and is receiving great attention from many pole dancers.
Pollab is currently developing grip products tailored to the characteristics of sports that use hands, such as health training and CrossFit, to deliver optimal performance with excellent grip, and plans to launch the product in October this year.
Kim Shinkwang, CEO of Pollab, stated, “We will strive to develop safer and more satisfying products by conducting various grip product research, development, and testing with Aura J Pole Dance for the advancement of pole dance and safe sports activities.”
Meanwhile, the company is carrying out this project with support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation.
