Accounting firm Samjong KPMG held a management committee meeting on the 26th and announced the ‘2024 Regular Partner Promotion Personnel’.
In this partner promotion, Executive Directors Kim Min-gyu, Kim Shin, Noh Sang-ho, and Shin Jae-jun were promoted to Vice Presidents.
Vice President Kim Min-gyu joined Samjong KPMG in 2002 and is in charge of the financial industry in the audit division. In particular, since this year, he has also served as the leader of the Audit Committee Support Center (ACI), which supports the proper establishment of roles and activation of activities of the audit committee.
Vice President Kim Shin worked at KPMG from 1991 to 1993 and served as team leader of the Accounting Review Bureau and Capital Market Supervision Bureau at the Financial Supervisory Service from 1996. Based on the expertise and capabilities accumulated in the financial authorities, he has been contributing to strengthening audit quality and risk management at Samjong KPMG since 2020.
Vice President Noh Sang-ho joined Samjong KPMG’s audit division in 2002 and leads the manufacturing industry headquarters. He is recognized as an expert in the manufacturing and energy industries. From 2008 for three years, he also gained experience in advanced global audit work at KPMG Australia.
Vice President Shin Jae-jun joined Samjong KPMG’s audit division in 2002 and is a financial industry expert who has conducted accounting audits of major financial companies, IFRS adoption in the financial industry, and consulting on accounting infrastructure establishment and advancement. He is also evaluated to have an international perspective through his assignment at KPMG Germany from 2012 to 2014.
In addition, 21 people including Kim Si-woo, Kim Yu-mi, Kim Jeong-gi, Kim Jeong-eun, Noh Jeong-han, Park Won, Bok Jeong-su, Shin Moon-cheol, Yeo Jun-hyung, Lee Sang-mu, Jeong So-hyun, Jeong Hyun-kyung, Jeong Hee-seok, Je Won-yong, Jo Gye-seung, Jo Sang-hyun, Jo Hyeong-uk, Choi Sang-wook, Choi Yeon-seok, Choi Jae-hyeok, and Heo Jae-hoon were promoted to Executive Directors. This personnel appointment will be officially effective from July 1.
