Kyobo Securities announced on the 26th that it conducted environmental protection activities at Yeouiseo River Ecological Park.
This activity was carried out to protect and manage the environment in the Yeouido area and to create a sustainable ecosystem where various organisms can interact and live together.
About 40 employees participated in the event and worked on restoring the biotope and securing its contents in preparation for heavy rains during the monsoon season.
Lee Seok-ki, CEO of Kyobo Securities, said, “Biotopes play an important bridging role in sustaining living ecosystems,” adding, “Let all employees practice eco-friendly activities together and fulfill our responsible role for future generations.”
Meanwhile, Kyobo Securities has been conducting the ‘Green Race Boom Boom Challenge’ since last month, which encourages eco-friendly practices and accumulates points. The challenge consists of 25 daily practice items such as using reusable cups and shopping bags, and upon reaching 10 million points, donations will be made to environmental non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
