On the 25th (local time), BBC and other outlets reported that British police arrested four men suspected of trespassing at Sunak's home in North Yorkshire, England. The four men, aged 20, 21, 43, and 52, came from London and Manchester, and are currently under investigation, police said. They belong to an environmental group called 'Youth Demand.' A video released by the group showed one of the four men apparently defecating in a lake at the residence. Additionally, the man was wearing a shirt with the phrase "Eat shit Rishi" written on the back.

However, Youth Demand explained that the defecation was not real but simulated using silicone. Youth Demand stated that the performance was a "farewell gift" to Prime Minister Sunak and the Conservative government, demanding a halt to arms support to Israel and the cancellation of new government-issued oil and gas licenses since 2021. The UK is scheduled to hold a general election on the 4th of next month. Recent polls suggest that the Conservative Party, led by Sunak, is expected to suffer a heavy defeat, trailing the main opposition Labour Party by more than 20 percentage points.

Last year, Sunak's Yorkshire residence was also targeted by environmental groups. In August last year, Greenpeace members protested against the UK's new North Sea oil development policy by climbing onto the roof of the house and hanging a black cloth. The repeated break-ins by environmental groups at the Prime Minister's residence have raised security concerns.

Meanwhile, environmental groups have recently adopted more radical protest methods to attract attention. On the 19th, two activists from the environmental group Just Stop Oil poured orange paint on the ancient site of Stonehenge on the Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England. They demanded that the next government commit to a binding agreement to phase out fossil fuels by 2030.
