Six Securities Firms Re-included Except for the First Half
Number of Trading Securities Firms Maintained, Some Replaced
The securities firms handling domestic stock trading for the National Pension Service (NPS) in the second half of this year have been decided. Six firms, including NH Investment & Securities, which were excluded in the first half, have been re-included, while Shinhan Investment Corp., Daishin Securities, and DB Financial Investment have been excluded this time.
The Stock Trading Office of the NPS Fund Management Headquarters notified the respective securities firms on the 25th of the "2024 Second Half Domestic Stock Trading Securities Firms Selection Results." The trading securities firms consist of 26 general trading firms, 6 cyber trading firms, and 15 index trading firms.
In the first-grade list for general trading, six firms were named: CSGI Securities, KB Securities, Daiwa Securities, Samsung Securities, Korea Investment & Securities, and Hanwha Investment & Securities. The second grade included eight firms: CLSA Korea Securities, NH Investment & Securities, Macquarie Securities, Meritz Securities, Morgan Stanley Securities, Mirae Asset Securities, Shin Young Securities, and Yuanta Securities. The third grade included twelve firms: BNK Investment & Securities, IBK Investment & Securities, LS Securities, Nomura Financial Investment, Daol Investment & Securities, DS Investment & Securities, Eugene Investment & Securities, Kiwoom Securities, Hana Securities, Hong Kong Shanghai Securities Seoul Branch, Hyundai Motor Securities, and Heungkuk Securities.
The number of trading securities firms remains the same at 26 for both the first and second halves. Yuanta Securities, NH Investment & Securities, Hyundai Motor Securities, Heungkuk Securities, Eugene Investment & Securities, and LS Securities, which were dropped in the first half, have been re-included this time. On the other hand, six firms that were previously general trading securities firms?Daishin Securities, Shinhan Investment Corp., DB Financial Investment, SK Securities, Citigroup Global Markets Securities, and Goldman Sachs Securities?were excluded this time.
The list of cyber trading securities firms includes six firms: BNP Paribas Securities, SI Securities, Leading Investment & Securities, Bookook Securities, Yuhwa Securities, and Hanyang Securities.
For index trading securities firms, the first grade includes four firms: NH Investment & Securities, Shin Young Securities, Shinhan Financial Investment, and Korea Investment & Securities. The second grade includes five firms: BNK Investment & Securities, KB Securities, Samsung Securities, Eugene Investment & Securities, and Hanwha Investment & Securities. Lastly, the third grade includes six firms: LS Securities, Kyobo Securities, Mirae Asset Securities, Yuanta Securities, Kiwoom Securities, and Hana Securities.
