Busan Port Authority Conducts Mandatory Safety Training for New Port Tenant Supervisors

Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Junseok) conducted a mandatory legal training session for supervisors of tenant companies in the hinterland on the 24th at the Safety Education Center on the 2nd floor of the Busan New Port Welfare Plus Center.


This training, co-hosted by BPA and the Busan New Port Hinterland Logistics Association, was attended by about 70 safety supervisors from tenant companies.


A professional instructor from the Korea Industrial Training Association, a safety and health education institution designated by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, was invited to provide education on the roles and duties of supervisors, logistics warehouse safety, and the Serious Accidents Punishment Act.


Hong Sungjun, Head of Operations at BPA, stated, "To prevent serious accidents among tenant companies in the hinterland, it is important for supervisors to be familiar with relevant laws and to enhance workers' safety awareness," and added, "We will actively support various safety training programs, including mandatory legal education."
